STOP CHILD ABUSE
Dear Mr. Jesus Click Here if Music does not Automatically load. :) As I look around today, I notice that alot of people walk away from a child in need. A Child that is being abused. They walk away for many reasons. I didn't want to get involved. What good would my voice do? Well I can tell you it could just save a life. I have seen many children be abused. Yes, I did turn it in... but adults don't listen to people that sound like children! We need to listen to our children... we need to love and protect our children. Keep them safe from the storms that lurk in every corner. If you see a child being abused. I don't care what type of abuse it is turn this in. PLEASE!!! A child needs our protection. Don't walk away! Help put a STOP to child abuse. STATISTICS Every year 903,000 children are abused each year. That is 12.9 children of every 1,000 children. More than half of all victims (53.5%) suffered neglect, while almost a quarter (22.7%) suffered physical abuse. Nearly 12 percent of the victims (11.5%) were sexually abused. Victims of psychological abuse and medical neglect accounted for6 percent or fewer each. In addition, a quarter of victims (25.3%) were reported to be victims of more than one type of maltreatment. YES with neglect comes fatalities... something I hope to see become non-existent but it can only happen with YOUR help! An estimated 1,100 children died of abuse and neglect, a rate of approximately 1.6 deaths per 100,000 children in the general populations.* Knowing that children are dying because they are being mistreated... knowing that these children are defenceless and need your help sometimes just to stay alive... are you gonna turn your back? I hope not! Please help stop child abuse. Call a local child abuse hotline if you suspect a child is being abused!
