Gazz LeWars, saxophonist & flautist:

      MUSICAL HISTORY:
I began formal tuition on piano from age 4, violin from age 7, playing lead violin in school orchestra, I then learned cornet from age 11, to join the Boys Brigade marching band. I taught myself to play the saxophone from 1992, finding a strong and immediate affinity with this instrument. After several years developing my  skills at home and on the street by busking, and playing the occasional gig, in 2001 I gave up a successful career in IT to pursue my musical calling.
I now play alto, soprano and tenor saxophones as well as flute professionally in a range of genres encompassing Jazz, Pop, Rock, Latin, Funk, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Reggae and R&B, with various bands, as well as teaching sax, clarinet and flute fulltime (click Tuition link on left for more detail)..
