Everything we have on Earth is made up of particles. However in my studies I have noticed a correlation between atoms and the shapes we see on the NASA channel.
So basically, the earth and all the planets and other solar systems are actually particles in a much larger, by relativity, universe. Where as we see light as white, perhaps with an enhancement of one color or another. These larger universes see white as black. There by causing the invert affect. Our universe seems endless much like a pitch black hallway seems endless. But we are meerly particles. Much like the beings that undoubtably live in the universes we call atoms are.
We see light as white, the white light is being given off by both the smaller and larger universes. They see light as black. It's very simple really.
