This is Raindrop who in 2004 was 9 years old.
You can learn how to take care of house bunnies by

following the links below.

This is my angora baby, Newman.born in Sept 2004

Raindrop was purchased when he was just a little bunny. Now he is a full grown rabbit. Mini rex rabbits have very short hair and are therefore very soft. I also have a black dwarf bunny named Boston Blackie, and a black and white dutch named Cricket. They are all tame, but they have not been bonded to each other. If you do not take the time to bond rabbits they will fight and cause harm to each other. Rabbits raised together since birth usually get along. The three of them have individual personalities. It is a VERY good idea to learn as much as you can about caring for an animal, especially rabbits which have different needs than most people are aware of.

Rabbits do not thrive well outdoors away from anything interesting. Neighborhood cats, racoons, dogs etc. can cause the bunny to die of fright even if they do not make physical contact with it. They can be litter trained and live in a cage as well as have time outside the cage to exercise and explore. The links above are very informational in getting you started in being a house bunny parent.

Newman was adopted at age 4 weeks from a man who bred his two pets. He is growing in leaps and bounds and will soon be full grown.

Just like any animal we adopt as a pet, a bunny should never be ignored and have its basic needs ignored because we no longer are fascinated by it. If you think you have the love and attention to give to a house bunny, the links above will help you on your way. There is also a rabbit list, well two actually that are mailing lists mentioned in the links that are discussion groups sent to your e-mail address and you too can participate even if you do not own a bunny yet.

Iuse the word own loosely as you can never really OWN any living thing. You can be responsible for its care while it lives amongst us and make its life full and fulfilling.
