We got Junior in June of 1987 from a private home in Fairview Heights Illinois. He was a cute little bugger and Bob started calling him Junior. I thought it was cute, so that became his permanent name.
He proved to be a really headstrong pup as well as a headstrong dog throughout his entire life.
He was as cute as a button, so we overlooked a lot of his terrier chihuahua attitude.
Little did we know, that this little doggie was just the beginning of a long list of accumulated pets we would get over the years we have been together. Junior was our first pet as a couple and soon proved to be a very independent fellow. Our love hate relationship ended after nearly 14 years.
We look back fondly on this little character and rolling our eyes, vow never to get another chihuahua mix again. AMEN.
Penny is the calico cat in the background in the first picture. She was our second pet and lived to the ripe old age of 15.
