Penny was our special cat because she had such a personality and character. She was a pretty calico kitten weighing less than 4 lbs. when we got her from the Belleville Area Humane Society in July of 88. She was 10 weeks old at that time, and Rob my son was home on leave from the Air Force and went with me to pick her out.

In 2003 when she was a remarkable 15 years old, she developed Kitty Senility and became very hard to live with. She would literally scream out whenever the notion struck her be it in the middle of the night or middle of the day.

We tried some pills recommended for her condition, but they did not help at all. Rather than let her deteriorate in health, we decided to have her euthanised and remember her as the strong cat she had always been.

We will always remember her as our sweet dominant kitty who never lost her spunk.

Our special kitty is in heaven now with her former friends who were also members of our family.
