Geraldine L. Elaine Crorkin
Geraldine L. Crorkin, 82, of Belleville,
Ill., born Feb 10, 1918, in Harrisburg, Ill., Died Monday, March 13, 2000,
at Four Fountains Convalescence Center, Belleville, Illinois.
Mrs. Crorkin served in the U.S. Navy
WAVES during World War II. Mrs. Crorkin was preceded in Death by her parents,
William R. and Hattie, nee Pritchard, Monroe; and a brother, Charles A.
Monroe.
Surviving are her husband, William F.
Crorkin Jr., whom she married July 29, 1950; a son, William R. (Rita)
Crorkin of Toney, Ala., a brother, William (Fern) Monroe of Steeleville,
Ill.; a step-grandson, Robert Aderholt of Sacramento, Calif.; and a sister-in-law,
Martha Monroe of Winter Springs, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belleville Humane Society, National Wildlife Federation or any
Wildlife Fund.
Visitaion; None Schedule.
Funeral:�Memorial services will
be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2000, at George Renner &�Sons
Funeral home, Belleville, Ill. Burial will be in LakeView Memorial Gardens,
Fairview Heights, Ill., By Mrs. Crorkin's request, her body will be cremated.
