DEADHEAD CYPRESS AND PINE |
Cypress and pine have been harvested from the rivers, creeks and swamps of Northwest Florida for hundreds of years. Thousands of rafted logs never made it to the mill, ending their journey lying on the bottom, preserving their precious value over a century of time. |

The diver locates the log anywhere from 6 to 40 feet. The pontoon boat drops the tongs and the log is winched to the top to be inspected for quality then transported to the drop zone. |

Watching that big gator sleeping on the opposite bank can be scary!! |

Sometimes it takes the help of a comalong and a winch to retrieve the log to deep water for transporting. |

The log has been secured on the surface and is ready for transporting down the river . |
