OUR RESORT ROUTINE!
We begin our day at 6 AM and feed all the pets who are guests of our facilty. You must bring your pets food so they stay on the same diet they have at home. Over the years we have fed many special meals here for our guests at their owners request. We do warm food, refridgerate, or prepare special meals. We also keep your pet on its regular feeding schedule so be specific when you want your pet fed and how many times a day. After our guests have been fed and received fresh water, we begin walking all the dogs. All dogs are walked here about every two hours from 6:30 AM to the last walk of the evening at 10 PM. Walks last as long as it takes for the dog to decide it's time to go back inside. In the summer months all the dogs like to hurry back into the air conditioning! All dogs go into the play areas also several times a day to romp and play with toys. We do not let dogs play together unless they are from the same family as we do not want any dog to be injured by another dog. When the dogs are put back into their individual private suites of rooms they can stretch out and relax or play with their own toys and listen to tv. The outside play areas have a large assortment of community toys but we do keep each dogs own toys in their suites. Our dog suites were designed to provide a low stress environment for your pet. As they cannot see other dogs there is very little barking and no cage fighting and aggression that is very common in open wire runs. Smooth, solid walls are also able to be fully sterilized between each guests visit as opposed to wire runs and pets stay very clean while they are guests here! We provide a very comfortable, clean, fresh smelling, home like, stress free environment for the well being of all our guests! We also offer 2 cat suites with windows for our cat guests! In between walking and feeding and playing with our guests we clean, return phone calls, verify shot records with vets, check guests in and out, schedule reservations, give baths if requested in advance and give tours of our pet resort by appointment only from 8 AM to 3:30 PM Monday thru Sat.  We are closed on Sundays and holidays for pick ups and drop offs and our office is closed for phone calls.. We meet with clients and tours by appointment only so we are able to stay on our guests walking and feeding schedules who are boarded with us. We begin feeding and walking pets again at 5 PM and our last walk is at 10 PM and then it's lights out in the suites and all dogs get a last bedtime treat!. Our home is located right next to the kennel and we also have an intercom into our home that we can hear our guests that are in the kennel.

During a tour a client may view an empty suite and see all the areas of our facility. We never post a last name on the suite doors or show another person's dog to protect the privacy of our clients who have thier dog here while away. It has always been our policy to never reveal to anyone what pets we have boarded here at the time except to the Pa. State Inspector during a routine inspection where he does check vet records and licenses or if a pet owner has left us instructions to speak to a family member, friend or thier vet during the course of a pets stay here. We take our clients privacy very seriously here and we do not make exceptions and we do not release a pet to someone other than the owner unless instructed by the owner to do so and those arrangements must be made in advance of pick up of a pet. We always take emergency numbers or cell phone numbers, so that we can reach an owner or family member if needed.

All dogs receive bows and report cards at check out and cats receive a report card! We welcome clients to call one of the vets on our local link page for a reference and we welcome tours of our facility so that you may see where your pet will be staying while you are away and we encourage you to check our references with one of the vets listed on the vet page. We also like to meet all dogs so they know us in advance of being a guest here! Please remember we only accept very friendly family pets at our facility and we do refuse any pet that shows aggression toward people.
