| Captain Jack Sparrow used to work for the East Indian Trading Company, more importantly for Beckett. Jack was captain of the Wicked Wench but when Captain Jack Refused to deliver slaves Beckett branded Jack as a pirate and burned the Wicked Wench. Soon Jack embraced his new title, but he was without a ship. So he made a deal with Jones. Jones raised the Wicked Wench up from the depths and Jack Rechrisended it the Black Pearl. Thats why he always calls it HIS ship when he's arguing with Barbossa about leaving him on an island with no name what so ever watching him sail away on HIS ship and then he'll shout the name back to him. |
