Chapter 2
"'Ello?" she answered.
"Sydney?" Paul asked.
"Hey Paul, yeah this is Sydney. I decided to come stay with Claire while you were away" Sydney said laughing.
"Oh thats a good idea. Here talk to George for a second" Paul said.
George got on the phone.
"Ello luv" he said.
"Hi Georgie, how is the US?" she asked.
"Same as it always was" he said.
"Has to be better then it is in the future" she said laughing.
"Well I'll call you later cause Paul is getting all impatient over here" George said laughing.
"Okay....lemme get Claire" Sydney said.
"CLAIRE" Sydney yelled as she turned around.
"I'm right here" Claire said covering her ears.
"Sorry" Sydney said laughing.
Claire took the phone from Sydney.
"Paul?" Claire asked.
"Ello honey" Paul said "How are you?"
"Well I'm pregnant" she said sighing.
"Well I knew that. There isn't anything wrong is there?" he asked worried.
"No no , of course not" she said.
"Well that's good. I just wanted to call and tell you we all got here safely. And I'll call you later tonight when we get back from the press conference" he said.
"Nice to hear from you honey" Claire said.
"I love you" he said.
"Love you too. Talk to you soon" she said.
They both said bye and hung up their phones. Before either one of them could say anything, there was a knock at the door.
"Hark, I hear a knock upon yon door" Sydney said.
"Just answer it" Claire said rolling her eyes.
Sydney laughed as she ran to the door. She opened it and there was a man.
"May I help you?" she asked.
"Yes, I'm here to deliever some furniture to a Mrs. Sydney Harrison." he said.
"Yes, that's me. Shall I show you where it is to go?" she asked.
"Yes" he said.
"Right this way" she said as she opened the door wider.
He followed her up to the baby's room. Sydney told him to put all the furniture in the middle of the room. The man and other men brought in all Sydney had purchased. Sydney covered all the furniture with old sheets. Claire walked into the baby's room.
"Well can I see?" she asked.
"Of course not! I have to paint first. You'll get to see it as soon as I'm done though." Sydney said.
"Okay well I think I'm going over to Cyn's house. You can have the whole house to yourself" Claire said.
"Great! Tell Cyn I said hi" Sydney said.
"I will" Claire said.
"Julia!" Sydney said laughing.
