| Cassidy ran to her bedroom in tears. "Peter what's wrong?" they all cried. "She just um all her emotions about everything are getting to her" he said as he went into her bedroom. "Cass?" he said softly. She jumped up and ran into his arms. "Peter, it's just Fallon and now Mike, I don't know...." she said sobbing. "Dont' you worry about anything. Everything is going to get better. Just remember the good things about Fallon" he said. Mike, Micky and Davy walked in her bedroom. Cassidy saw them. "What about the other thing?" she cried out. Mike looked genuinely hurt for Cassidy, almost as if it was hurting him just as much. "I promise that will work out" he said confiently. She pulled away violently. "How do you know? I didn't think Fallon would die, but she did! When I said my family lived on the east coast, that was a lie! My parents are dead and I have no brothers or sisters. Do you know how hard this is? No you don't beacuse you have it good" she said collapsing on her bed. She breathed deeply as she regretted the way she had said that. "I don't want anyone to pity me!" she said softly. Peter motioned for the others to go over to her. Davy and Micky ran over quickly. Mike was reluctant. "See Peter!" she cried out. Davy and Micky held her hands. Her whole body rocked with sobs. She shot up and ran out of the room. She ran outside onto the beach. The guys were stunned for a moment. "What should we do?" Davy asked. "Someone should go after her!" Micky said. "Peter go!" Mike said. "No you go! Listen do you like her or not?" he asked harshly. Mike looked around for a moment. "Yes" he said. "Well part of that fit was about you! She thought you didn't like her at all" Peter said. "Me?" Mike asked. "Yeah, now go. She needs you" Peter said. Mike jumped up and ran outside. "Mike huh?" Micky asked with a smile. "Yeah, she told me at the club. After we ran into that guy Phoenix" Peter said looking at Davy. "Phoenix?" he cried out. "Yeah, he's weird" Peter said. "I know" Davy said rolling his eyes. "I can't believe that she just did what she did. I mean her parents are dead" Micky said. "Yeah. I think she is a very brave and strong person" Davy said. "For real. I don't know what I would of done if one of you died. But if Fallon hadn't died, maybe we never would of known Cassidy. I don't know wheather to be sad or happy about Fallon" Peter said. "I know what you mean" Davy said. "Yeah, I feel bad that's she's dead but I'm glad we got to meet Cassidy" Micky said. "Yeah, I hope everything works out with her and Mike. They would be perfect for each other" Peter said. "So true" Micky and Davy said in unison. Mike ran up to Cassidy who was sitting on a towel near the water. "Cassidy?" he called. She didn't acknowlegde him. "Maybe we need to talk" he said as he sat next to her. "Maybe" she said softly. |
