| Back in 1992, by chance, Denver and I met in my home town of Langdon. Four months after that, on Jan. 19th 1993 we got married. Simple wedding....I mean simple. After math class [Iwas senior], in my jeans,sweatshirt and no make-up we said "our vows". And started our adventure in life together. On Feb. 2nd 1994 our first baby boy arrived, then life was very interesting. Parenting was not and is not easy and we do not recommend just anyone to seek that position. Ha Ha! That baby boy changed our life! For the good! We love our Damien. Skip a couple years and we had our second baby boy, Donovan. We thought one child changed our lives! WOW! The second one did some modifying to the first change. Denver and I had many rough spots in our marriage. There were times when we were going to call it "quits'. Sometime in Feb. 2000, Denver as usual was out on a trip (he was and still is a truckdriver). At that time a friend invitied me to listen to a speaker(she called him a spiritual motivator). It was the 26th of Feb. 2000; Denver and I were serious about a divorce so I thought I could use all the motivation I could get. So my friend picked me up and we went to Argyle MN , we dropped the kids off at the babysitter and then arrived at the place were the speaker was. Turns out the speaker was an evangilist and prophet. We start the meeting with a few worships songs. Then I learned that these people took worshiping God very serisously. If you have been in a charismatic church before you will understand why. WOW! Anyway....after all the singing was over and the speaker was almost done with the message, he called me in the front. I was little embarrassed but went ahead anyway. He stood in front of me and told me everything that happened in my life! I was shocked! How could he know? Then I felt the presence of something supernatural. Then the speaker led me into simple prayer called "the sinners prayer". I felt this joy come over me and knew God entered my life. AWESOME! The bondages of sin in my life were broken off me and I was renewed. I became a child of God. A month later Denver accepted Jesus as his personnal Lord and Savior too! And the rest is history!
