FLLC, request for tenure-track replacement position in FLLC and German. Prof. Staples indicated that with the retirements of Profs. Haenlin, Deinert and Welsch, the major no longer has the faculty necessary to teach required FLLC courses. ...Prof. Staples pointed out that Profs. Koester and Larson teach four courses in German/FLLC annually, so the college currently lacks even one full-time position in this area.

Performing Arts, request for a full-time position in Music, a full-time position in Design and Technology, and a part-time position in Dance. Prof. Penniman indicated that the college does not have adequate staffing for courses in the Music concentration...

Religious Studies, request for a tenure-track position...
...Student Representative Pellegrino stated that from her perspective as a student, based on discussion with other students, the needs are particularly urgent... students in Art History and German may have to take courses elsewhere to complete their requirements.
