Playlist: The Sophmore Year26 June 2005 [5:48pm]Oh no, what have I done? I dare put a link on my myspace to this here. I am a nut.
Once I start, I can't stop. My head won't turn off. I've been writing books of an entry lately. Blame it on the lack of capability to sleep. So now that I've convinced myself some idiot is going to read this, let me nutshell this for those with ADD.
I went to DC today with Bryan. We went to a flee market in Bethesda where I figured that flee markets & thrift stores are part of a subculture fad, which isn't a bad thing. Personally, cheap stuff are cool except for when you're purchasing some random stranger with an unknown venereal dieseases pants for two dollars, that just creeps me out. Got gelato at the Marguders in Cleveland park, though our intentions were to get ice cream at Coldstone across the street but I can't complain, it was good. Headed to Dupont, ate Moby Dicks because I love lamb, sat in the park for a bit, and then watch some twisted witty almost lesbian movie called My Summer Of Love. As usual, we played our metro games and put our trust in a quarter that made our spur or the moment descions.
I've finished reading "We Thought You Would Be Prettier" by Laurie Notaro and finally, the book I've been reading on and off for the past two years, "Middlesex" written by Jeffery Eugenides. I still prefer "Idiot Girls Action-Adventure Club" and "Virgin Suicides". I've restrained myself from buying another book until I begin my new summer job at a corporate retail book store where I shall recieve employee discounts on coffee, music, movies, and books, thats why I willingly applied. So I'm patiently waiting for Tuesday to come. Anyways, I still have "Lullaby" by Chuck Palahnuik, the last of his fictional novels I haven't read.
Playlist: The FormatToday, God said, cue the exboyfriends.
I wake up to the miss calls of Xavier and Jordan. Two exs should never call on the same day. This summer is turning out to be all kinds of weird.
So I decided to go ahead and call Jordan back, go to the source that broke me. But I guess he was sleeping, considering the time difference. (Yes, it is a long distance phone call to Japan.)
I'm going to be doing stupid stuff for the next few days. If you don't find Karen, it's cause she hasn't been here lately. I apologize ahead of time.
