First Off, Thank you for your time. This is our plight...The lender on my grandparents home is getting ready to foreclose. This is a house full of many happy memories that we do not want to lose. We want to keep the traditions, that they held dear, alive. We have shared life's up's and down's in Grandma's house. There have been many blessed times of Joy as well as life's sorrow's that have played out at grandma's house. Grandma is 65 years old and always maintains a pleasant charm about her, she is ALWAYS the first one to volunteer when someone is in need. She is very active in church, as well as being an active volenteer with many of the churchs support groups. Today her health limits her from being as active as she once was, but she still manages to find time to help out any way she can, cooking to making candies for the churchs auctions...She can still be counted on to help!...Grandpa is 72 yrs old, he was also very active in church. He was an elder to the congregation for 23 years until his health did not allow him to do so. He worked for a major rubber company making tires for cars until the company closed. For the past 20 years he was self employed and ran his own appliance repair company. He had worked daily up until 2002. A heart condition and pending back surgery later his doctors told him it was time to retire. How? with what money? His 1 man operation barely netted him enough to pay the bills! They borrowed on the equity in thier home just to pay off bills. Now, that decision has turned out for the worse. The payments for the mortgages are almost as much as their social security, let alone medicine, groceries, and life's BARE necessities! To help thier situation they have sold thier 2 vehicles , have reduced their health insurance to the bare minimum and canceled grandma's life insurance policy. We are a family of 6 and struggle ourselves to make ends meet. But we always try to help them along by doing what we can but, dont have the financial where with all to end thier misery. WE DO HOLD HOPE!!! We have recieved donations from friends and folks we dont even know and will be auctioning them on Ebay. I have also started to sell AVON with all proceeds from both of these venture's going to help svae our grandparents home! My grandparents are very proud people who have never hesitated to help anyone that needed it. Now they are the ones who need the help! This is the least I can do to help them out!
