Israel Military Order No. 47 Concerning The Transport of Agricultural Products
In accordance with the authority vested in me, and in my capacity as the commander of the Israeli Defense Forces in the West Bank region, I hereby order as follows:
- Definitions
1. In this Order:
- "The person"-Includes all bodies [hay'a ma'nawiyya] and any association of persons not organized into a body.
- "The region"-The West Bank region.
- "Competent authority"-The person appointed by me as the competent authority for the purposes of this order.
- "Agricultural product"-Includes plants, any animal (dead or alive), vegetables, fruits, or any agricultural product whose source is a plant or animal, but not canned goods.
- Prohibition
2. 2. It is forbidden to remove or bring any agricultural product from or into the region without a permit from the competent authority.
- Punishments
3. Any person who violates Article 2 of this Order or any specification regarding he requisite permit will be punished by a period of three years imprisonment, a fine of 3,000 dinars, or both.
- Cancellation of Order No. 2
4. Order Regarding Quarantine (West Bank Region) (No. 2) of 1967 is hereby cancelled.
- Implementation of this Order
5. 5. The implementation of this Order commences as of 9 July 1967.
- Title
6. 6. This Order will bear the title "Order Regarding the Transport of Agricultural Products (West Bank Region) (No. 47) of 1967."
