| Links Evergreen is a registered national charity founded in 1991. We are a national non-profit environmental organization with a mandate to bring nature to our cities through naturalization projects. The MRTA is responsible for the development of the Trans Canada Trail in our province. We have a volunteer board, a Trails Co-ordinator and one other full time staff member. We were founded in 1920 for the popular and scientific study of nature. Today, we continue to study nature and the protection and conservation of our natural environment is a high priority. The MNS believes that the chance to experience an undamaged environment in peace and tranquility is a joy and a privilege. We also believe in the importance of sound stewardship and the wise use of our natural resources. Throughout the year, the MNS runs an average of at least one outdoor event per week.
