The Manitoba Naturalists Society is a non-profit organization made up of individuals who share a common concern for the well-being of Manitoba's nature.
We were founded in 1920 for the popular and scientific study of nature.
Today, we continue to study nature and the protection and conservation of our natural environment is a high priority.
The MNS believes that the chance to experience an undamaged environment in peace and tranquility is a joy and a privilege.
We also believe in the importance of sound stewardship and the wise use of our natural resources.
Throughout the year, the MNS runs an average of at least one outdoor event per week. Most events are free.
