| -17- 9. Conclusions The cumulative evidence and confirmations received from several knowledgeable sources have proven to be the catalysts for political and administrative action to date. The acquisition of land and funds for park and restoration development will, by necessity, be dependent upon an intergovernmental cost-sharing basis, perhaps in conjunction with the modus operandi of the Heritage Manitoba and/or the Heritage Canada Acts. A copy of the Heritage Manitoba Act is enclosed herein for reference. The success of the field and map research is gratifying to this writer. |
