RE: The 1985 Lake Worth Bombing.
Cause No.067662-D
Dear Mr. Curry:
I'm writing this letter as an appeal to you, to re-open the investigation regarding the 1985 Lake Worth Bombing, and as an appeal to you, to urge the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to reopen their investigation regarding this matter.
A man by the name of Michael Roy Toney was convicted of this crime in
May of 1999, in the 297th Judicial District Court of
Tarrant County. There is evidence to support the fact that
this conviction was wrongful and is a terrible miscarriage of justice.
This conviction and subsequent death sentence was obtained by perjurous
testimony.
There is evidence that points to the real murderers. This evidence was not aquired until after Mr. Toneys trial. If this investigation is not re-opened these people will remain free to commit more murders. That is something I'm sure you would do everything within your means to prevent.
I make this appeal in the name of community safety and in the name of human decency.
Thank you for your attention regarding this most urgent matter.
Sincerely,
