To continue with the success of the Save Eric Petition reaching 1000 signatures (in only 3 days), we have decided on what to do for Phase 2!
We at SaveEric HQ have decided to head up a mass mailing of dog food to the ABC Studios where All My Children is taped. With FULL cooperation, we can create quite a stir. Many of us have come to love "Gabriel", whom under sad circumstances on the show people call 'dogboy'. So we are asking everyone starting on Friday, August 17th to send in as many cans of dog food as they possibly can. We feel that this mass mailing can effectively change some minds if it is planned out well and has emmense support. And you have shown that you support Eric through the petition as well as hits to both the official Eric Dearborn Site (www.ericdearborn.com) and SAVE ERIC! Headquarters (www.geocities.com/saveeric).

We would also like to personally thanks everyone who signed the petition, as well as everyone who signed on to the "new" project, before they knew what is it was! This is our biggest challenge yet. We need the people over at AMC to see that we are serious about having Eric Dearborn stay right where he belongs on the show. Eric is a great actor, who through the writing, was not able to showcase his talent. Many of us know that he is really something special, extremely kind-hearted and passionate.

Hey!
Just to let everyone know, all the food that is sent on Eric's behalf to AMC
will in fact be donated to an Animal Shelter in the NYC area.
We are currently making sure that once the food is sent to ABC, it will be arranged to have a shelter pick the food up from the studios.
This way we can do 2 good deeds.
The main goal is to send as many cans (etc.) of dog food as we possibly can!
We have recieved so many emails from people who are outraged at the fact that Eric is leaving...and this is one thing that you can really do to help.
No one has to worry about ABC getting upset, because everything is arranged...all that is left right now is a show of support for Eric.
Once the cans get there... they will be going to a good cause.
