| HEARTS CRY by Rose Demarest When the night falls and stars don�t appear, I know then there is no life here. The moon that once shined bright as light, Now covered in darkness it is eternal night . The pain in my soul I can not describe, The world that I lived in had given me bribes To a world that was better and so full of life But now it's over, And life is at an end, And the day I once knew has turned night once again. Oh God hear my cry if you are really real. Fill me with peace I want the real deal. I�m tired of the fakes, the liars ,and all those that take Life for granted for their sake. I once knew your love but now its too late. I only have right now to beg of you God, If you turn me away I'll burn in the lake. The pain in my soul I cannot explain, The sorrow and aching is much to great. All I have now is this moment in time, As I look at the sky that once shined light. The eternal darkness is what I will know, From now till eternity there will be no glow. No light, no love, just a faint slight little shrug Of the Man up above saying you were loved. As I looked up to Him I knew that He cared, I reached out my hand and He met me there. He pulled me up from the darkness of sin, Into the light once again. I smiled as a tear fell from my eye. Rolling down my cheek He heard my heart cry . " I am still here for you as I always have been. You turned from me for a life of sin . I watched you run from me but to return once again.� Oh God please hear my hearts cry this time, I love you with all that I have inside. I choose you this day till the day that I die, Never to turn for a life full of strife. I�ll choose you forever even in the dark times, For my eternal night is once again light. Out of my distress I cried out to you. And once again you remained true. I�ll fall on my knees and give thanks for the truth, But first hold me tightly and close to you. Wrap me in love and surround me in peace, the joy in my heart I pray never cease. Dear Lord this cry is for you alone, For you etched the name deep in my soul. JESUS I love you and always will, That name once lost now I hold so dear. |
