What's this all about?
This page is made by a 22 year old Christian. This is to journal my thoughts, feelings, and other junk about God, spritiual ignorance, my friends/family, and whatever else.I am doing this to show the world (or, more realistically, whoever happens to stuble on this page) that you don't have to be homeschooled, maladjusted, brainwashed, or weak to be a Christian.
I find it funny how so many groups label Christians as 'intolerant' or 'hatemongers.' What ever happened to standing up for what you believed in? Has anyone else noticed that whatever-you-beleve-is-OK as long as it's not Christian? Who are the intolerant ones?
Right or wrong, there are things that I will not stand for or tolerate.
Sin. There's something that I will not tolerate. There is so much hate and lust and pillaging going on in the world that I can hardly stand it. People wonder why bad things happen. They usually blame God when it's their own actions that cause their pain.
Jesus says that His yoke is easy. That means that what God requires from us is not something that weighs a lot. It's not heavy. They're not too hard to follow.
God made rules, like the 10 commandments (not suggestions) to keep us from getting hurt. [Is it so hard to see that committing adultery (cheating on your spouse) is bad?]
God is love. Did you know that is a direct quote from the Bible?
[be careful that you don't confuse it and say that Love is God, lots of people do]
God, while being the big, powerful creator of the universe, loves us so much that He sent His little boy to die so that we, the ones who act like we hate Him so much, could have a relationship with Him. How does that hit ya? It's the truth. It's in the Bible.
ANYWAY...I'm sure that some of you are checking out this page to see how ignorant this religious guy is. If I am or not is up to you, I guess...or maybe we'll find out someday just how ignorant we Christians are. Don't wait until it's too late to change your mind.
