2/9/05-Big Update
I love news. Yes, I waited for all the good news to build up so I can write a huge entry. Here we go. First of all, a shout out to all who voted for us on the Taste of Chaos Acoustic Stage Competition. Each and every one of your votes means the world to us!! Secondly, we got the artwork in for the new EP and designed the cover. There she is (looks to the right). The release date has been set for March 5. That night we will be having a release show at my house. Everyone is welcome. This will give you a chance to hear us play some of the songs and buy the EP. Speaking of shows, we have shows lined up for Feb - March. Check out dates and directions below. Also we got some of our new merch in (including stickers and posters). Check out us out live to grab some merch for now. The last dropplet of news comes in the new- redesigned site on March 4. This site will be much like the old one, but will have some new goodies as well. Yumm..

The Swimming Is Overrated EP is finally finished. We can't wait until it is produced and wrapped in plastic. You can stream three songs online. Enjoy. Right now an artist is painting the front and back cover. After that is finished we'll design the rest at the studio and have it shipped off to be duplicated. No release date is set. We'll let you know. We always do..

Shoutin' out to everyone who came to our headlining show Saturday! Thanks much. The live CD will still be on sale at shows in 2005. As of right now we are taking a break to record our new EP. Sometime in January a couple new songs off the EP will be up on Purevolume. We'll let you know. 2005 has a lot to be excited for.....Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year....
11/18/04- Battle of the Bands
Buy a Battle of the Bands Ticket! This Battle of the Bands on December 4th and 5th is considered, by SBH, to be their most important show to date! The battle is judged partly on crowd enthusiam and noise!! Contact one of us for a ticket. We have a new show on Monday and I want all you wahoos to be there! We are opening for This Holiday Life at Calvary Bible Church in Boulder CO on Monday Nov 15th (SuperDavers, here's your chance to come see us again)!!! This is a great opportunity for SBH as This Holiday Life has toured with Switchfoot.

9/30/04- October is around the corner
October begins tomorrow and we are excited. First things first. Our next show is October 30th at the Oriental Theatre in Denver. Tickets are on sale now. You can buy them from us for $5. This money will help us with our upcoming recording.
Middle Schoolers!! It has just been confirmed that we are playing at SuperDave on Oct 15th!!! The show will be at 2:30 am. It's gonna be fun
9/12/04- Crashing Down
Hey, It feels like it has been a long time since one of these fun SBH updates. We are rolling along well and have been playing lots of shows. Thanks to all who were at the Soiled Dove this afternoon. 8/15/04- Two more shows to end out the summer
Hey everyone. I hope you are all enjoying summer. Obviously, the re-released version of the CD is now available. Contact us for a copy. We have all been on vacations since the beginning of July but now the band is back together. We have been getting ready for our upcoming shows. Aug 21st at the Oriental theatre (go to the concerts page for details and directions) and a show Sept. 12th (more details coming very soon). You won't want to miss either of these shows. They are gonna be huge.
7/5/04- Cracked is on Purevolume
We recorded our new song, "Cracked" at Globalsound Studio today. The song is mixed, mastered and on purevolume. Download the song and share it with everyone you know! We really want to get this song out there. The re-released version of the CD is coming out soon--hopefully by the end of the week. The first 100 CD's are sold, so the rest of the CD's will now be the new version which includes "Cracked". Contact us for a copy.
7/5/04- "Cracked"...the new song
Tomorrow we will be recording our all-new song "Cracked", professionally at Globalsound Studio. We think this is our best song yet. We will then be adding "Cracked" to our demo along with some awesome graphics on the insert and front cover. This will be the re-released version of the CD. It will cost about $6.00. If you already have the CD, "Cracked" will be available for download at purvolume very soon. We decided to make this move so we could have a professionlly recorded song when we hand out CD's at the Warped Tour later this summmer. Also---pictures of the Backyard BBQ are up and I made some more space in the guestbook. Keep posted and get exicted for "Cracked".

6/10/04- Demo CD Release!!
We have finally released our much anticipated demo CD!!! Thanks for all of your support!! The CD is $5.00 with 8 studio tracks including Hopeless, The Pirate Song, Another Excuse and more!!! The CD's are going fast. It's only 10:00 and we have sold 17 with another 50 or so sign-ups!! Email us and reserve your copy!!!! Sweet! Well, I am headed off to Jamaica tomorrow morning so talk to Bryce, Adan, or Jerrod.

Thanx for the awesome turnout at the concert at Centaurus!! You guys helped us rock out!! Also on that day we finally received the first copy of our demo. The CD will be released on Thursday, June 10th. That's the day before Tim goes to Jamaica..tight. If you have signed-up/pre ordered a copy you will be getting a call when the CD's come in. The first 100 copies will contain a special (limited edition feature). We are getting CD sign-ups like crazy. The release date is set for Thursday, June 10th. The CD will cost you $5.00 (donations are accepted also). There will be 8 studio recorded tracks.

We finally have our year end concert set for Thursday, June 3rd at the Centaurus Auditorium. It's free too!! Bring anyone and everyone!! Sorry for the lack of updates, but we are still waiting for our first copy of the demo.

We went to Globalsound studio today and got our CD cover and insert designed. It's going to look sweet. Two or three more songs are still waiting to be mixed at the studio. Now it looks like our show will be June 4th @ Centaurus for an end of the year bash!

I have decided to make a "news" section at SavedByHero.com. The updates and news on the home page were becoming too crowded and I felt the need for a larger news section. Thanks to all who came and supported us at Ignite on the 30th! The pictures of that concert are up in the photo section. We are thinking of having a concert the Friday of Memorial Day weekend @ Centaurus. We will be headlining the concert and another band to be named will open. The demo might be out by then, but at this point it is still being mixed and mastered. You're gonna love this disc. -Tim
