While searching for info and pictures of my old school, I stumbled upon your
site. I'm sorry to hear of its demise. I enjoyed my years at Crawford. I was
there for K, 1st and for 6th. I had Mrs. Jonas, Mrs. Moulton, Mrs. Bonham,
and Mrs. Hunt (I hear she remarried). My mother also volunteered there,
after I had graduated, doing counseling for the students. I was a crossing
guard during my 6th grade year. I also played Santa for the school Christmas
program that year as well as illustrated the cover of that year's Spring
program. I fondly remember planting trees in front of the school for Arbor
Day. I will miss it. Whenever I'd drive through Terre Haute I tried to drive
by.

I was there from '71-73 and 77-78. That would have been K, 1st and 6th grades.
