War

A clash of titians once friends now foes.
Armageddon inflicts unending woes.
Cannons blast, destruction reigns.
The hands of terror strike inhumane.

Blow by blow, blast by blast.
Will humanity, our sins outlast?
A bitter siege, a cruel blood thirst.
Can a kingdoms spirit be coerced?

A King takes vengeance with brutal force.
Though wrought with casualties he stays his course.
All pleas for mercy go ignored.
As gallant men succumb to mighty sword.

Spears and arrows, broadax and mace,
dispatch a kingdom with unholy grace.
A killing field is strewn with flesh and bone,
as the victors celebrate alone.
