Tides of Change

Winds high,
Charcoal skies,
Jagged lightning strikes,

Thunder roars,
A swift downpour,
Vengeance takes the night.

Natures lumberjack,
A white-hot crack,
A giant Oak doth timber.

A life altering crash,
A split second flash,
A night, Ill always remember.

With two conscious eyes,
At once I realized,
The fate of my unmoving limbs,

My brain cells didnt think.
Dont drive while you drink.
So try never to act on a whim.
