| Six Strings of Steel
She waits patiently on stage. I join her there, In the white-hot glare, Of the spotlight. I lift her gently Into my arms, stroking her pearly White complexion. I caress her long, Languid neck. My left hand nimbly, Strumming her six steel strings. As my right glides along, The length of her fingerboard, Eliciting a seductive murmur Soft as a lovers sigh. My hands move furiously. She serenades me in her familiar tongue, With riffs of Show Me the Way, Wonderful Tonight, and Satisfaction, Resonating deep from within her belly. Joined in a lyrical embrace, were treated to Thunderous applause. As I take leave, she again, takes her place on stage, longing for her next caress. |
