Hopeless Henry rarely goes away,
so seldom is he late,
hasn't left his home in twenty years
cause he can't find a date.
No swimming pools or picture shows,
no roller coaster rides.
There's no wedding in his future,
unless Henry finds a bride.
He searched for women everywhere
he sailed from shore to shore.
Paris France, Afghanistan,
a dozen countries more.
He laughed; he danced the night away,
but things are seldom what they seem.
Henry�s life was just a fantasy,
unfolding nightly in his dreams.
Henry lives his life in solitude.
looking forward to tomorrow.
A thunderstorm of bitter tears,
a bushel basket full of sorrow.
His life has never been fulfilled,
he never had a senior prom.
Now Henry�s forty and alone,
contently living with his Mom.
