Falling to Pieces

Don't leave me like old Humpty Dumpty,
Broken and smashed on the ground.
Solve the mystery of my jigsaw puzzle,
Mold a smile from my heartbroken frown.

Vanish my dark gray horizons,
Replace them with sunny blue skies,
Cotton candy shaped cumulus clouds,
Pastel rainbows, orange and black butterflies.

Hold me close; give me kisses of comfort,
Treat me with kindness, until I am well.
Reassure me with comforting words,
Mend my heart with a magical spell.

Enlist all the Kings men and horses,
Have them fashion a new destiny,
A kingdom of undying love,
Reserved for just you and me.
