offering easy solutions
to difficult problems.
For the asphalt road
leading to paradise
is littered with the char-broiled
bodies of the innocent.
A �go for the jugular�
mentality exists amongst
the powerbrokers perched high
in their ivory towers.
The veracity of the answer
matters little. For their quest
contains a hidden agenda
hell-bent on supremacy.
Is the soul of an innocent
worthy of sacrifice?
Does the onslaught against tyranny
justify a legacy of oppression?
Or is persecution in the name of humanity,
a byproduct of authority run amuck?
A shortsighted establishment
wallowing in a den of iniquity
