Are you Born Again?
Are you born again? Do you know Jesus? You are born once of the flesh from your mother's womb. To be born again is the birthing of the spirit that is in you, bringing it to life by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and letting His Holy Spirit come in and rule and guide your life. Jesus says in John 3:3 "Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Who is Jesus? What is Grace?
Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God. He has been given all power in Heaven and on earth to forgive sins and save the souls of all those who will accept Him as Lord and Savior and believe in Him.
For by GRACE are ye saved through FAITH; and that not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of GOD, not of WORKS, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9.) We are saved by Grace, through Faith, unto SALVATION. Grace is good will or kindness, mercy or pardon; the unmerited love and favor of God; a state of reconciliation with God. There is nothing you can do to earn it. As a sinner, you definitely don't deserve it, but God freely gives grace because of His love for us.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, with evidence not yet seen. Salvation is the deliverance from the bondage and penalty of sin. So then, you are saved by the GRACE of GOD, through your FAITH in JESUS CHRIST, the only begotten Son of God, unto your SALVATION.
How are you Born Again?
Jesus has made a way for us. By His Grace we can be saved. (Romans 10:9-10) ... that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
With a humble heart, ask the Lord to forgive you of your sins, ask Him to come into your life. He will make a new creature (a new person) out of you. Turn away from your sinful ways and turn toward His guiding light. If you feel that the Lord is calling you, please accept His invitation for eternal life.
Read and study His Word, for it tells us in scripture, "study to show thyself approved." We must continue in His word to learn and grow in Him, to gain strength, to increase our Faith, to have a solid foundation in Christ. If we don't know what He has provided for us and promised us, how then can we know Him?
The life of a Christian is a joyful experience. We all go through tribulation on this earth, but when you have Christ Jesus, He helps you during these times. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13.)
Ask Him into your heart today. Receive the grace that He is freely giving.
