James is the son of Jerry D. and Michelle J. Rinkel and brother of Virginia "Ginger" of Crawfordville, Florida. James is a devout Christian and a member of the Medart Assembly of God Church in Medart (Crawfordville), Florida.
James was enrolled in the R.O.T.C. program in Wakulla High School. When James graduated from high school he was the Commanding Officer for the Naval R.O.T.C. unit. He also graduated from the Admiral Farragut Naval Academy in St. Petersburg Leadership Program two years ago as a Lt. Commander. He is a goal oriented young man and never lets adversity stand in his way of what he wants to accomplish, while always maintaining his faith in God.
Now serving in the United States Air Force, James has recently received his orders to go overseas. James told his father not to worry because he has faith and trust in God and "that no matter what happens, God will be on his team and with God on your team, you can't be alone."
No doubt Jerry and Michelle are extremely proud of their son. To have a child dedicated to God and one that is willing to put his life on the line for his country is something to be proud of. Of course, it also says something about the parents of this young man. They raised James and his sister, Ginger, in a loving Christian home with true values and principles. He has prospered due to his upbringing.
God bless this young man and keep your loving hand on him and the other men and women that are serving our country.
