Intro The key to good makeup is to make it look natural. You do NOT want to look like you painted your face. Even if you have a makeup fetish or whatever, try to make it look natural and you will be most pleased! Glossary TG Transgendered. Generic term for all crossdressers (CD), transvestites (TV), and transexuals (TS). CD Crossdresser. This is someone that likes to dress up and go out into public. TV Transvestite. One who gains sexual pleasure or even satisfaction from wearing clothes intended for the opposite gender. TS Transexual. One who has decided to alter their body to resemble or sometimes operate like one of the opposite gender. MTF Male-to-Female. Adjective to describe a man that is trying to appear as a woman. FTM Female-to-Male. Adjective to describe a woman that is trying to appear as a man. GG Abbreviation for Genetic Girl. A term used in the TG community to distiguish a natural born girl from a pre-op, post-op transexual or a TV/CD or just plain sissy boy. Clocking See Spooking Spooking Spooking or clocking are terms I have heard used to describe TG's that have been discovered to not be genuine members of the opposite sexemales. It is the worst feeling in the world and something that every girl wants to avoid... TG or GG. Wigs Ivana says that 80% of your look comes from your hair. I tend to agree. If your hair looks good, you will pass. I have only experienced cheap wigs and have gotten good reults. The problem with cheap wigs is they wear out eventually. This is not a problem for me since I typically just go out to clubs and other places only once or twice a week. The wigs typically will last a bit over a year for me. I spend about $30-50 on a wig. The other thing is they wear out throughout the evening. With synthetic wigs, they tend to get frizzy on you after a few hours. Run a brush through it when you go to the ladies room. I am told that human hair wigs (tend to cost more) do not have the "frizzing" tendency that the synthetics do, though, again, I have no first hand experience with them. Heels Walking in heels takes practice. Start by wearing them around the house because if you practice in public, you are doomed to get spooked. I. Shave A. I use a Mach III by Gillete i. Ergonomically speaking, the handle is a bit larger, providing a better grip for genetic male hands. a. This provides a better shave because you can control it better B. Shaving cream. For my legs and body, I get good results with just about anything, though my face seems to enjoy Barbasol brand shaving cream. II. Clown White A. Apply clown white as beard cover over all areas where your facial hair grows. B. Smooth the edges into the rest of your face such that you can see no lines. C. I use Stein's (R) since 1883. i. It comes in a flat, cylindrical, white container with blue writing on it and costs around $4 ii. The Foundation to everything else. All of your makeup will rest upon this layer. B. Cheap foundation makes everything else look cheap and painted on. C. Try to pick a color that closely matches your natural skin tone. i. Too dark and you appear like you got burnt in the tanning salon. ii. Too light and you appear dead (or undead since you are up and walking about)
