Mr. CEO (Ode to a Broken Home)

Tom Thomas was a CEO at a local Best Buy.

He was 45 it showed in his eyes and also in his stomach.

The gleam was gone now, it disappeared, along with the muppets.

There was nothing left he was the best at pushing through those contracts.

Mr. CEO, What did you do?

Mr. CEO, How could you?

Your life is the past. Your future is nothing. Where do you go from here?

It started when he was just a boy. He never had any use for toys.

He only played businessman. That's what he wanted to be that was the plan.

When he was in high school, he played football and he was super cool.

Then he met Miss Wendy Weber, and he knew they'd be together forever.

Mr. CEO, What did you do?

Mr. CEO, How could you?

Your had it so good. Your life was so perfect. Where do you go from here?

But then it happened not too long ago, he was getting kind of bored. Things were going pretty slow.

So he went around searching for a good-looking face. Some pretty young girl whose tail he could chase.

Then one day he met young Julie Levy. From there on in things got pretty hot and heavy.

They went out at least twice a week. Ol' Tommy thought that he was pretty sleek.

But little did he know Wendy knew what was up. It wouldn't be too long before the bomb would drop.

Mr. CEO, What did you do?

Mr. CEO, How could you?

You loved your wife, but now she's tossed aside. Where do you go from here?

He came home one night and knew something wasn't right when he saw the note on the table.

He picked it up and read it. It said, "I've had it. No more cheating for me."

"I'm gonna get a lawyer and divorce you. You should be happy that I don't sue."

"I took the kids with me, so you are all alone. I hope you're happy that you tore apart our home."

Mr. CEO, What did you do?

Mr. CEO, How could you>?

Your wife has left you and you are on your own. Where do you go from here?
