Benchmark Your Savage
Some people might find this method lame, because I do too.

Whenever you feel that your Savage card sucks or is damn slow try this. Test your Savage by using DirectX. Yup, there is something called test Direct 3D and DirectDraw.

Software needed:
A utility to turn on and off V-sync. (Like S3tweak)
DirectX 9.0

Ok, get ready. First make sure 'Wait for V-sync' is on through your utility, then type 'dxdiag' at the run dialog. Go to the Video tab and then click on 'Test Direct3D'. Check out the cube. Quite smooth, eh. So if you think this aint that good, then try this.

Make sure that 'Wait for V-Sync' if off. Go to DirectX, Video tab, 'Test Direct3D button'. The cube goes super fast. Now this is what I call raw Savage power!!! Do the same with Direct Draw.

Note : What V-sync actullly does is control your Savage's frames per second(to prevent tearing of textures on the screen--Savage3D). Turining it off makes the Savage run at full maximum speed.
You need the latest drivers to support DirectX 9 textures, 3.20.33 support them.
