| Who would've known? by: GlitterAngel SLAM! Went the front door, waking Darren abruptly out of his slumber. He wiped his eyes in the darkness of the bedroom he shared with his bandmate Daniel, and threw the sheets off his exhausted body. He swung his gake to the digital clock on the nighttable. Although his vision was blurred, he made out the red blob of numbers: 4:27 am. "Shit," he muttered. He knew Daniel was home from one of his drinking binges with his so-called buddies. He tried to mind his own business but he was tired of being woken up like this. Stepping barefoot onto the cold wooden floor, Darren cursed himself for not putting the rug on the floor. He was so damn cold. He stumbled around blindly until he found his slippers. Then he dragged himself out into the small hallway. There he was: Daniel was leaning against the wall, his arms hanging limply at his sides. Darren was angry, "Hey man, you just woke me up!" Daniel stared at him blankly, "What?" //How could he *not* hear me when I'm screaming at him?// Darren wondered. "Nevermind, you dumb drunk," Darren said, annoyed. Then he turned and head back for the bedroom. Daniel followed him, almost tripping over his own two feet. When they got in bed, Daniel asked softly, "Darren?" "Yeah?" Darren turned away from him. "Do you hate me?" Instantly, Darren was sorry. He moved rather sluggishly onto his back so Daniel, who was sitting, could see him. "No, Danny, I'm just tired." "Okay." Darren thought he was so cute and was about to say so but stopped in time. He closed his eyes and awaited sleep's fingers to pry him back into dreamland when he heard Daniel say: "I love you Darren." Darren's eyes flew open and he couls feel his face getting hot and red. "N-no you don't. You're smashed. You'd say anything to anyone." //If only you really *did* love me!// "Just forget that fact. I *do* love you!" Daniel insisted. Darren shook his head and knew he wouldn't meantion this to him in the morning. Daniel would deny it for certain. "Good night, Daniel," he said finally. Daniel unfolded his legs and lay next to Darren, but didn't remain that way. He placed his hands on each side of Darren's face and pressed his lips to his friend's. Darren was ecstatic from the tenderness of Daniel's kiss. He was now more anxious than he'd ever been. He didn't care anymore that this was happening soloely because Daniel was drunk and he needed someone. He wanted Daniel. And now. Washing out hie fatigue, a new source of adrenaline coursed through Darren's veins and he grabbed Daniel'd face and kissed him hard, making sure he would have Daniel's taste to linger in his mouth forever. They were so caught up in their kissing, Daniel only then realized Darren had rolled ontop of him. He hadn't thought in his wildest dreams that Darren would be like this. He was definitely not complaining! Daniel thanked his lucky star that he had the ability to act. He thought for sure Darren was gonna get pissed off and announce he'd be sleeping on the couch. He was totally oblivious to the fact that his leg was rubbing against Darren's crotch until Darren moaned in his ear. //I really should focus on this moment now!// he thought. "Sorry Daz." "No! Don't be sorry!" Darren whispered and allowed himself to be pleasured like that again. Daniel was enjoying this immensely. Hearing Darren in pleasure was all he wanted. Darren kissed Daniel one last kiss before his energy ran out. He collapsed on Daniel's chest and murmured, "Love you Danny." Daniel's heart fluttered and he didn't move for a full two minutes. He knew Darren would kill him if he found out Daniel wasn't really drunk. Carefully, he nudged Darren's sleeping body off his and not long after, he, too, fell asleep. In the shower, Darren was unable to stop thinking about Daniel last night. Or was it a dream? Slathering the loofah over his body, Darren closed his eyes and sighed as the hot water hammered down on his back. //Finally, a shower with hot water// Most of the showers he took were ice cold, all because they lived in a cheap apartment. "Oh!" Darren chirped as the loofah perfectly caressed his cock. He began to blush and he tried to stop his hands from subtly returning there, but he gave up, almost gratefully and he hung the loofah on the hook. Moving to the walls that met, Darren slowly slid down until he was sitting in the tub. Working himself so meticulously, Darren found he was pretending it was Daniel's hand. He could not kelp feeling ashamed of his action, but he didn't stop. All the pleasure building up, Darren finally threw his head back and released his moaning. Daniel looked up from the magazine he was leafing through and was convinced he heard something but he wasn't sure what. When the sound did not repeat, Daniel shrugged and decided to change out of yesterday's clothes. Twenty minutes later, Darren came running into their bedroom in just a white towel around his waist all flushed. "You okay?" Daniel immediately asked. "Yes! Of course! Get out. I gotta change." Darren rushed Daniel out and shut the door quickly. In the hallway, Daniel was left confused but chose to forget it. After brunch, they were sitting in the living room channel surfing. Daniel decided he should tell Darren the truth. "Darren, I have something to tell you," he began. Darren gave him a sideways glance and when he realized it would be a serious talk, he turned the t.v. off. "What is it?" "Remember last night?" Daniel couldn't swallow the lump in his throat. Something inside Darren seemed to freeze. "Last night...what are you talking about?" //How do I say this?// Daniel thought nervously. He folded and unfolded his hands and noticed that his palms were sweaty. He could feel a blush coming on again. "When I came home late. When we were in bed," he finally said. "Oh that," Darren whispered rather quickly. Daniel saw that he was embarrassed and he almost smiled at that. //God, we both love each other...why is this so hard?// he thought. He made sure they were eye-to-eye. "I wasn't really drunk, Dazza. I remember every little detail." "Oh, no." Darren broke their gaze. "What?" "I-I just can't believe this." "Me neither." Silence filled the room. Daniel grinned to himself and said, "Darren?" "Yeah?" Darren refused to look at him. "Do you hate me?" "No." "I love you, Darren." A giggle escaped Darren's throat and he replied, "I love you too." They smiled and leaned in to each other almost hesitantly. Daniel held Darren carefully and brought his lips to Darren's for a kiss. The end. |
