		Savage Underground Savage2000+ Tweaked Driver 1.0b1

This is my first attempt at a tweaked Savage2000 driver and Im glad to say I feel a few things I did should make a difference.  The first being I have fixed the stuttering DVD playback I have read many complaints about.  Secondly I have added registry keys to enable SSe & 3DNow!, so when installing the driver, please make sure you chose the correct one (Celeron/PII/other users please  select the driver that doesnt list any SSE / 3DNOW! Optimizations).  I have also included some registry tweaks for users, these are in the tweaking folder.  Also included is the latest release of S3Tweak which I will post schemes for later this week!  I Also found a newer AMD Irongate Miniport driver this morning which is included with this release.  Its in the root driver directory so just run that if you have an AMD Irongate based motherboard.  Finally, I added several resolutions to the inf for everyone.  Please share your results with me and thank you for your support.



                               ---Using WMalign---


1.  Extract the files of this directory to the appropriate location of the program you wish to optimize (DONT DO EVERY PROGRAM ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!)

2.  Run the batch file the following way:   please goto the windows ms dos prompt, locate WMALIGN.bat in the program dir you extracted to, then run it as follows:   wmalign.bat *.exe *.dll

3.  Run the program after WMAlign completes its proccessing.

4.  Reboot and defragmentate your hard drives.


			       ---Other Tweaks---


I have also included several tweaks I found to boost performance somewhat, including the IRQ Buffer that I read about recently.  These performance tweaks will be applied without you doing anything but installing the drivers.


                            ---Special Precautions---


I have left default registry keys for each set of drivers just in case someone changes something they shouldnt :).  These are in the tweak/restore subdirectory.
