MIRAULT

David MIRAULT married Jane? Jeanne?, KARE? KARR? CARR? KERR? CARN? in St. Jacques de L'Achigan P.Q. in 1833. We can find nothing of her parents Hone? KARE? and Catherine MACLAHANNE. The marriage record indicates they were "de cette paroise" but they are never mentioned in the church records otherwise. This family, originally Amirault, was from Acadia, travelling to the U.S.A. after the expulsion, then to St. Jacques de L'Achigan. I have been told that this could not possibly be a "Joseph" son of David Mirault and Jane Kerr. Apparently "Joseph" one son of theirs married twice in Quebec and had 17 children. If anyone out there has researched this family and knows what became of other Joseph's brothers Ludger and Louis David please let me know.
