| Hello fellow archers, we have two new members, Rob Lantz and Rob Sollars. Welcome aboard, we hope that you, your friends, and your family will enjoy coming out and shooting with us this year. This weekend, March 11th and 12th we have an indoor 3D M.A.C. Qualifier shoot. The range will be open Saturday and Sunday from 8am till 2pm, anyone who could come in and help out with the shoot your help would be greatly appreciated. We will be setting up for the shoot Friday night at 7:00pm. Remember if you help set up or work the shoot, you shoot the course for free. Because this a M.A.C. Qualifier there will NOT be a coon shoot Saturday night. On March 25th and 26th we have set for clean up for the outdoor range before our first outdoor shoot. Anyone who can help with it, your help would be greatly appreciated. I do apologize for not having a sign up sheet done yet, but it will be up by the end of next week for anyone who is interested. I will also have the sign up sheet for anyone interested in mowing the outdoor range for two-week intervals. Anyone who does mow the two weeks also gets to shoot the outdoor courses for free that month. April 8th and 9th we have an indoor 3D shoot, we will be setting up for it Friday night at 7:00pm. The range will be open Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am till 2:00pm. There will be a sign up sheet at the range next week for anyone who can sign up to help. There will be a coon shoot Saturday night April 8th at 7:00pm. The kids will be shooting first with the adults following afterwards. The cost is $5.00 for the adults shooting 15 targets and $1.00 for the cubs shooting 15 targets. Anyone shooting the course again, the charge will be half price. April 15th and 16th we are having a benefit shoot for Richard Smith who was just diagnosed with cancer. The money raised will go to the family for treatments and ongoing medical bills. April 29th and 30th we have set aside for a work day at the outdoor range to cut and paint the wooden stakes for the shoots. Some of the stakes have started to rot over the years, so anyone who can help just sign up on the sign up sheet at the range next week. We will be grilling out so if you show up please bring a dish to pass like hot dogs, hot dog buns, or chips. Normally, our awards banquet is two weeks after our winter leagues end, but this year we have a shoot for the two weeks after that, so as of right now our awards banquet is set for April 22nd. The Knight of Championsh fun shoot will begin at 2:00pm, with the dinner following at 6:00pm.. Please bring a dish to pass, the meat will be provided. The burr holders last month were Jon Dempsey, Terry Day, and Damian Considine for two weeks. Good job guys! Our next board meeting will be April 4th at 7:00pm for all those who can attend. Remember you dont have to be a board member to attend: we welcome any and all ideas. A special thanks to Ross Sword, he will be doing the newsletter for me next month. |
