Hi, and welcome to the [SAUF] webpage.

[SAUF] is short for Scandinavian Armed United Forces, and despite the fact that some German players think it means "drink", it dosen't, and we think it is a cool name for our clan :P

[SAUF] was founded 14'th of March 2001, after the members Pulver, Abeo and Znapper decided to break out of their memberships in their first clan called FoJ (Fighters Of Justice). That clan, which, despite of being a really fun clan, never really was specially successfull in wars.
[SAUF] was then formed to be able to make a mark in the Scandinavian UT (Normal Weapons) scene and to be able to compete at a level where we could actually put up a fight, or even better -beat- the crap out of some of those other well respected clans out there. :x

The three founders with Pulver as the acting clanleader, decided to keep the number of members at a maximum of 8. This was decided to keep the clan tight and to bound the members better. It was also decided that at this number the clan would be easier to manage and to train so it would be a nicely functioning team.
Anyway, the recruiting took some time, but after a week or two, we recruited Frisken (aka), and he convinced his drinking buddy Loke (aka) that [SAUF] was the place to be =)
Loke however stood firm and downright refused to join [SAUF] without his Dutch friend Champman (aka) also being able to join.
The foundergroup really poundered about this, wtf a dutchie in a Scandinavian clan??!?

After a few back and fourths, we caved and Loke and Champman was entered into our memberlist.

We were now 6 members and we kept up the recruiting, later we got hold of B0rstis and Ammer, even later we've recruited members both from Holland and from the UK.

During these wonderful years, we really had some cool moments toghether, tnx to all the people who played -and still plays- for [SAUF].

The job as clanleader of [SAUF] has also been in the hands of Znapper, Champman and is currently in the hands of Ammer. Loke has the job as the all seeing eye in the instagib section and is our ICTF cup guru.

Tough [SAUF] isn't extremely active, we still play, and we focus -as always- on CTF and Normal Weapons.
