Scene: Last time, Juan was thinking of a way to get Emily's attention
and make her jealous. Teresa agreed. Emily is sitting with Nikolas at a table
eating breakfast, and Emily is trying to ignore Teresa and Juan.
"Can I dance?" Teresa asked with wide eyes.
"Yeah!" Juan responded.
"I'll prove it to you." Teresa put down the money for the cost of her coffee
and grabbed Juan's hand and dragged him to the jukebox. She made sure she
gave Emily a sly smile, because she knew her eyes would be on them the whole
time. "Gimme a quarter."
"Here." said Juan while giving her the quarter from his pocket.
Teresa was looking through the choices of music, thinking which one would
make Emily the most jealous. She didnt care if Juan couldnt dance, she knew
she could clean up well. She did it so many times before.
"Can you hurry? Before she leaves." Juan said impatiently.
"It takes time." she said calmly. "You wont be sorry. Trust me." she said
while giving a light tap on the cheek. Now which one will get Emily the
most upset?? I think I will go for some Salsa music. She wont be able to
compare to me when she sees the way I wipe that floor clean. "I'm gunna
choose 4E"
"Ooooh yeeeaaahhh. I love me some salsa. And plus I would choose Marc Anthony's
music over anything of Miguel Morez's anyday." he said. Juan tried to lead
Teresa to the dance floor but she didnt budge."What's wrong? You didn't change
your mind did you?"
"Apologize." she said sternly.
"For what?" he said with a puzzled look on his face.
"You said Marc is better than Miguel. Take it back please." she said with
a smile on her face. "Especially if you want me to dance with you."
"Uuugh. Okay. Miguel Morez is the king of all music. Better?"
"Much. Let's go."
Teresa led Juan to the dance floor and they danced very closely and very
well throughout the whole song. Teresa shot a few glances in Emily's direction
during the dance, and noticed that Emily was definitely jealous. Her eyes
turned green. After their dance they basically got a standing ovation from
the people there. They both walked out after, laughing hysterically. They
were hangin out for about 2 minutes talking about what happened when Emily
busted through the doors of Kelly's and approached Juan and Teresa with the
meanest look ever.
Teresa then said with a 'tude:
"Care to share how you felt about our dance. I mean I didnt really see you
clapping, so I was wondering maybe you thought we didnt dance to well, or
moved left instead of right. (Heavy sarcasm) I would love to know. Since
you are always right."
Juan and Teresa then smiled together facing Nik and Emily's angry faces.
