 PROJECTS WORKED ON in COMPANY

·        Optimization of Sizing Recipe for Various Articles.

Optimized the recipe ingredients and process conditions for various fabric and yarn parameters like GSM, CF, Count(Ne) & Yarn Hairiness.

·        Optimization of Air Jet Loom Parameters like Air Pressure, Loom RPM & Dwell Time for various Articles.

Optimization of Air Pressure for weft Insertion with Loom RPM and yarn count.

·        Time Motion Study of Warping and Drawing-in Section leading to increase in Warping Production by about 10% and Drawing-in Speed by 50%

Studied the time required for various Warping and Drawing-in activities and thus, guided the workers for the possible reduction in time in various activities.

PROJECTS DOING in PHILADELPHIA UNIVERSITY

·        Ultrasonic Bonding of Thermoplastic Materials

Feasibility of Ultrasonic Bonding Technique for Thermoplastic Fabric “Sewing” like Polyster, PP etc.

PROJECTS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED in IIT

·        Designing and Fabrication of an Instrument for on-line measurement of Size Liquor Viscosity. (May’2000 – November ‘ 2000)

The project involved designing, fabrication and calibrating the instrument for various sizes like starch, CMC etc.

·        Generation of Motifs with the help of Fractal Geometry. (As Independent Study with coding in JAVA) (January’01 – March’01)
The project involved random generation of motifs (small pattern which could repeatedly be used for generation of complex designs) and to select it for textile printing in shades of colors.

·        Generation of Motifs with the help of Mathematical Transformation of Geometric Figures. (Coding in JAVA) (June ’01 – August ’01)
The project involved generation of motifs and to select it for textile printing in shades of colors by predetermined and random placement of geometrical figures like Squares, Star, Rectangle etc.

·        Optimization of Fabric Cost for given fabric properties and range of input parameters.    (As B. Tech Project from August’02 – May ’02)

The Project involved minimization of fabric material cost of production for a given range of fabric properties like, GSM & Cover-factor for a given Range of Input parameters like EPI, PPI & Yarn Counts for various types of products like Suiting, Shirting and Terry Towels.
