Serena was reading the latest best-selling novel called "Moonlit Pegasus", and was loving every moment of it. By loving it, she was crying. She and the girls were at the restaurant where Elizabeth worked. Elizabeth agreed with Serena in saying that the book was great. Raye teased Serena, saying that she was amazed that Serena read something other than comic books. Serena snapped at Raye, asking if she had read the book. Mina, Elizabeth and Amy all loved the book too. Raye thought that since Amy liked it, it must have been a good one. Rini was reading it as the girls talked. She wondered if the author knew the same Pegasus she did. She looked up at Lita, who had teary eyes, and was just staring at the cover.

Later on, Lita had gone with Rini, Serena and Luna, and was sitting in a park with them. She told them that the Author of "Moonlit Pegasus", Tomoko Takasi, was an old classmate of hers at her old school. Luna said that it would probably make Tomoko about Serena's age.

"Same age, maybe." Diana said. "But that's where the likeness stops short."

Serena told Diana to zip her lip, and asked Lita why she never told them about knowing Tomoko. Lita said she didn't want to sound like she was bragging about it. Lita recalled how she discovered Tomoko's talents in writing, and encouraged her to write stories for magazines. Soon, Tomoko had her first book, "Moonlit Pegasus", published. Rini was in awe that Lita helped in getting the book published.

"Enough about you, Lita, how can you brag so much?" Serena said, though not at all viciously.

Lita said that it was a long time ago, and Tomoko probably lived in another world. She didn't get to congratulate Tomoko because she was so busy with moving, which she regretted deeply.

"Say, Lita!" Serena said, getting an idea. "Why don't we go visit Tomoko and see how she's doing this Sunday? Then, you can congratulate her!"

Lita was pensive about the idea. Serena told her not to worry, because Tomoko probably wanted to see her really badly too.

Luna said, "Hold on, Serena! Is this more for you, or Lita!"

Rini wanted to meet Tomoko. Lita agreed to go. Rini and Serena were ecstatic.

Meanwhile, at the circus tent that was STILL in plain view of the entire city of Tokyo, Zirconia was expressing his impatience. The Trio tried to speak, but were silenced. He chided them for being so vain. Just then, his eye-like pet flew to him and perched itself on his staff.

"You've come back, Zircon." He said to the eye. The eye projected a beam and a photograph appeared. Zirconia took the photograph and gave it to Tiger's Eye. He recognized the girl as a hot writer. Hawk's Eye said that he laughed out loud when he read her book. Fish Eye agreed. Zirconia silenced them again, and told Tiger's Eye to get the woman, since she had dreams of Pegasus. Tiger's Eye thought that since Tomoko Takasi wrote about love, she needed it, and he was just the man to give it to her.

The next day, All the girls and cats went to visit Tomoko Taskasi.

"It's cool that you were a friend of Tomoko Takasi's, Lita." Mina said. "You know what they say - 'A friend in need is a friend in lead'."

"Thats 'indeed', Mina." Artemis said.

"I lucked out and scored a second book especially for the autograph!" Serena exclaimed, holding up two "Moonlit Pegasus" books.

"You're such an amateur, Serena." Raye said. "You should've gotten three books for that like I did."

Raye pulled out three books. Amy asked why she had three.

Raye replied, "Well, obviously you need one to read, one to keep forever, and of course, the one with the autograph would be for showing off."

The girls stopped and stared at Raye as she went on by herself.

Lita was starting to get nostalgic about being in the neighborhood. She ran on by herself the rest of the way towards Tomoko's house. Mina thought Lita was excited to get an autograph. Rini was excited to meet the girl who had dreams of Pegasus. Lita rounded the corner, and stopped when she saw Tomoko's front gate covered with a crowd of people. Tiger's Eye rounded the opposite corner and saw the same thing. He tried to push his way through the crowd, but started a large brawl. Lita asked what was going on. A man in the crowd said they were looking for Tomoko, as the next day was the deadline for her next manuscript. Lita dropped the box of cakes she was carrying.

"I sure hope she didn't quit." Mina said. "She wouldn't have done that, would she, Lita?"

"She better not have quit writing!" Lita exclaimed angrily. "This is her dream! It's the one true thing she ever wanted to do!"

Lita ran through the girls and took off down the street. She to a bridge, and to a special tree. As she had suspected, Tomoko was curled up at the base of it.

"Tomoko!" She said, running to her. Tomoko saw Lita and wiped her eyes quickly.

"I knew you'd be here." Lita said. "Just like in the old days. Why have you run away from everything? It's your lifelong dream to be a successful writer, isn't it Tomoko?"

"I can't write..." Tomoko said after a pause. "I can't write. Believe me, I've tried, and I'm blocked. Not a single word has entered my mind. There's no way I can write a story that can come close to 'The Moonlit Pegasus'. My dream is gone forever!"

Tomoko ran away, crying. Tiger's Eye watched from the bushes, changing his strategy to take advantage of Tomoko's sadness.

Late that night, Lita was still sitting at her table after the restaurant had closed. Serena, Elizabeth and Rini all watched her, concerned. Lita just stared out the window into her own memories.

Three schoolboys were playing keepaway with Tomoko's manuscript. Lita's voice boomed out for the bullying to stop, and the three boys ran away, terrified. Tomoko thanked Lita, and Lita picked up the manuscript. She asked Tomoko what it was, and Tomoko told her. Lita started reading it, and Tomoko tried to stop her. Lita kept reading. As the hours passed and Lita finished the manuscript, she handed it to Tomoko and told her it was excellent. Lita walked off, telling Tomoko that she really liked the story, and to tell her when more of it was available.

Tomoko had gone to watch a soccer game. Well, in fact, she had gone to watch one particular boy. She stared at the boy with stars in her eyes as he kicked and handled the soccer ball. Suddenly, someone touched a cold soda can to her head. It was Lita. She handed Tomoko and drink.

Lita said, "Oh, I see you have your eye on number twenty five! He's nice!"

"He's the one who inspires me." Tomoko replied, blushing. "Every time I see him play, I feel like I could write forever."

"Have you told him how you feel?" Lita asked, popping open her soda can.

Tomoko replied, "No way. Every girl in school is after him. I don't even think he knows I exist."

"Hey, I know!" Lita said. "Why don't you contribute excerpts from your wonderful story to a magazine or something? Then, once he finds out you've been published, and he reads your story, he'll certainly know who you are, and he'll want to get to know you better, I'm sure of it!"

Tomoko didn't know if she could do that. Lita knew she could, and had great confidence in Tomoko. Tomoko was motivated, and started on it.

Lita stared out at the night, wondering what was wrong with Tomoko. Luna noticed that Rini was missing.

Meanwhile, Tomoko was slumped over her desk, crying. Crinkled up sheets of paper lay scattered about her dark bedroom. She thought back to the day when she lost her inspiration. She was at a book signing, and suddenly saw the boy she liked with another girl. Since that point, she had never been able to be inspired, or write another word.

"Tomoko!" A voice called. Tomoko got up and looked out her window. Standing at the front gates was a small, pink-haired girl with a kitten on her head.

"I've seen Pegasus!" The girl, named Rini, said. "He's a beautiful white horse with wings and a horn, exactly like in your book! I was glad to know there was someone else who had the exact same dream about Pegasus!"

Tomoko was clueless as to what dream Rini was talking about. Rini asked Tomoko to read another book, and Tomoko simply closed the curtain to her window. She knelt on the ground, and shouted that she couldn't write anymore.

"Hi, Tomoko!" Lita's voice shouted. "Come to the window, and stop hiding!"

Lita and Serena had arrived. Serena told Rini and Diana that Lita should handle things.

Lita shouted at Tomoko's house. "You used to write such beautiful stories, but because of your shyness, only you and your desk drawer were allowed to enjoy! Maybe it wasn't shyness! Maybe you're just a coward! If there's just one person out there who really enjoys reading your stories, isn't that good enough reason to keep writing more? That was your dream, wasn't it, Tomoko? The world you created in your stories isn't just yours anymore!"

Lita's words sunk into Tomoko as they always had. She turned on her light and opened her curtain. She opened her window and smiled down at Lita.

"Hello, Miss Takasi. How are you this evening?" A voice said. Tomoko turned around and saw Tiger's Eye, though he was disguised. He introduced himself as an editor for Dream World Publishing House. She hadn't heard of him. He said that since writers get so close to thier editors, they would have to work very closely.

"Surrender your dreams to me." He said. Tomoko backed to her window. Tiger's Eye revealed his true form, and Tomoko screamed. The girls went ahead without doubt.

"JUPITER STAR POWER!"

"MOON COSMIC DREAM ACTION!"

Tomoko ran out onto her balcony, and ran to the railing. Tiger's Eye cornered her, and did his one to three count. Tomoko was trapped, and her Dream Mirror appeared.

"SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!"

Jupiter's attack sailed by Tiger's Eye, barely missing him. Sailor Jupiter warned Tiger's Eye to stay away from Tomoko.

"What?!"

"You heard her!" A voice shouted. Tiger's Eye saw two forms atop Tomoko's house.

"If you had any dreams yourself, then maybe you'd know how precious they are to people!" Sailor Moon shouted. "We're the Sailor Scouts!"

"We stand for Love and Justice!" Sailor Mini Moon shouted.

"I'm Sailor Moon!"

"And I'm Sailor Mini Moon!"

"And in the name of the Moon, we shall punish you!"

Tiger's Eye called forth his Remlis, Magician Tenko. Tenko appeared. It was an odd looking monster with what looked like a time bomb on its head. Tiger's Eye told it to attack, and it complied. Tenko first successfully trapped the Sailor Scouts in chains. It brought them all together, and bound them together.

"SUPREME..."

"Oh no, Jupiter, don't send thunder!" Luna shouted.

"... THUNDER!"

Sailor Jupiter's attack did nothing but electrocute herself and the other two Scouts. Pleasantly roasted, they were immobilized for the time being. Tiger's Eye peered into Tomoko's Dream Mirror, but didn't find Pegasus. He ordered Tenko to terminate everyone. Tenko's clock on the bomb started to turn, and attached itself to the chains holding the Sailor Scouts. The bomb was set to detonate in two minutes. The Sailor Scouts struggled as hard as they could, but to no avail. As the seconds ticked away on the clock, they struggled harder and harder. As it reached the last second, a rose suddenly flew downwards, breaking the chains into pieces.

"Chains can't hold back beauty, but they should be used to capture evil dogs like you!" Tuxedo Mask cried. Sailor Jupiter threw the bomb back at the Remlis. The bomb sailed over its head, and blew up, sending the monster flying downward into the ground. Diana cued Sailor Mini Moon.

"Oh please, Pegasus! Protector of Dreams!"

"CRYSTAL TWINKLE BELL!"

Pegasus appeared, and Tomoko came to for a moment. She looked in the sky and saw the magesitc horse. The monster was starting to get up from its fall.

"MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!"

Tiger's Eye beat a hasty retreat. Later that night, Lita asked Tomoko if she was okay. Tomoko said she had seen a real Pegasus. Lita, Rini and Serena looked at her, confused.

"Now that I've experienced such a beautiful dream, I'm inspired to work again." Tomoko said happily. "I have so much in my head, I want to write it all down! Not just for me and my desk drawer, but also for you!"

Lita nodded, and Serena and Rini laughed. Lita wished Tomoko luck, and the girls started to leave. Tomoko ran after them after a moment.

"Lita?" She said. Lita stopped. "When I finish my next one, will you read it for me?"

"Of course!" Lita said enthusiastically. "I was the first one to read your work, and I wanna stay number one!"

Soon, on Tomoko's desk, was a finished manuscript, dedicated to her best friend Lita, and to anyone with a beautiful dream.
