Saiyajin name: Kakarotto
Goku is the main character through out Dragonball/Z/GT series. Gokou is a saiyan from the planet Vegeta. His saiyan name is Kakarot and out of a sheer twist of fait he ended up on earth which led him to his new role as its protecter. It all started when Goku was just a mere baby. He was sent to earth by The saiyan race in order to destroy it so that they could later sell it to the highest bidder, because that;s what they do. But Goku forgot all about his mission of distruction when he suffered a blow to the head, after being discovered by an old man named Gohan on earth. And that is why you see him the way you do today. He has a good and pure heart. But firm and aggressive when it comes to defending those that can not defend them selves. Through out the story it's always Goku that pulls through and saves the whole DBZ gang. Goku never seems to mind what others might think of his actions, as long as he knows that there is no harm in what he is doing. One of Goku's greatest strengths (which can also be considered his greatest weakness) is his ability to trust in the innate goodness of all living beings. In this way, he has turned many of his enemies into friends. A problem with this, however, is that this same quality makes Goku seem rather gullible. Gokou is basically the strongest being in the universe. He also has many unique abilities. At a young age he was taught the
Kamehameha by master roshi, which is a powerful
beam that can be thrown through a unique method of hand positioning.
After his battle with Raditz and his tragic death, he furthered his
training with The Grand King Kai, where he learned the kaioken attack,
which doubles your strength, speed, and abilities upon use, and the
spirit bomb, which is a ball of energy gathered from the surrounding
lifeforce of the planet. Most of the rest of his training he did on his
own of which he learned of a nifty technique called instant transmission,
which is basically teleportation. He also developed the most awesome
ability of them all, Transformation to the legendary Super Sayain. After
mastering this state of power he learned how to transform into Super
Sayain 2, 3, and even 4. However, this is just a taste of what this awesome fighter can do!
