Time to get this unruly thing organized! Here we go:
Everything available here is copyright (©) the creator, which in most cases is me. If it's not me, it'll be posted as such with another official-looking copyright notice. No stealing, no direct linkage to the files, but feel free to email them to your friends 'cause this is a dinkie lil Geocities site and I'm poor! ;) If you'd like to do a recolor or clone anything I've got up, please ask me first.
About the downloads themselves:
1. To download anything offered on the site, click its picture.
2. The file size and exact contents of each file is included in its description (along with any expansion packs required for the object to work). Everything available for d/l here is in zip files, to save some room and bandwidth and all that. Each zip also contains a "readme" file, which basically just simplifies what you're reading in this faq.
3. Unzip your d/l's into the Downloads folder in your Sims directory (the "readme" file should be stored elsewhere). I can't guarantee my objects won't cause problems with your game, because frankly the game is quirky and I'm quirky and there you go. I do my very best to make sure they aren't going to crash your game, but if they do please let me know and I'll try to figure out the problem. However, you are downloading at your own risk.
4. Yes, I have a magic cookie. For those cloning or recoloring my objects, please note that I have altered the objects i.d. so that it reflects my site's name and a more explicit description of the object. All this means is that it'll be easier for you to find my objects in T-Mog's list. Look for "ssmn" files. I ask that if you do recolor one of my objects, you leave that part of it alone. If you're cloning the object and completely altering it, it doesn't matter. If you're using any part of the image, please put a link to my site and credit for the image.
5. All of my newer objects are categorized for everything up to Vacation. Honestly, I don't know what this means for people without expansions. If it becomes a problem, it's simple enough to fix; email me if you don't have a program that can do it and I'll do it for you and email the objects your way.
6. I do wear undies.
Some miscellaneous stuff:
1. My filenames are long. This probably means that Mac users will have a problem using them as-is. You're free to d/l and rename the files yourself, but I can't help you with technical Mac questions because I don't really know that much about them. Also, if you do rename the files, please do not offer them for d/l on your own site without asking first.
2. To my knowledge, all the work contained on this site is original to its respective contributor. If you suspect this is not the case, or if you note something that may be questionable, please contact me. I do not steal other people's work, and I think it's a dirty, no-good way to contribute to the Sims community if you do. I do believe in respecting others' work, and I expect that from everyone who visits this site and others like it.
3. If you'd like to link to me site here (ARR, it's the pirate in me thar), feel free. Next time I'm feeling ambitious I'll make up a couple of those little rectanglie banner thingies and everything.
