Saturn Girl from DC COMICS
Imra Ardeen is from the planet Titan, a moon of Saturn. Like all Titanians, she is telepathic. She can detect, read, and broadcast thoughts. She can also control the minds of others to a certain extent. These powers are harder to use depending on how different a mind is from that of her own. Because of their telepathic abilities, Titanians are viewed with distrust. This distrust apparently has resulted in a requirement that Titanians must wear a symbol of Saturn to identify themselves. Imra was a a cadet with the Science Police. She was one of the three founding members of the Legion of Superheroes along with Garth "Livewire" Ranzz and Rokk "Cosmic Boy" Krinn, after they saved R. J. Brande from an assassination attempt. She apparently is attracted to Rokk which is complicated by the fact that their two worlds were recently at war. Additionally, she also sems to have some attraction to Garth who is Rokk's best friend.

Saturn Girl comes from Titan, largest moon of Saturn where all people have ESP powers. She was one of the charter members of the Legion of Super-Heroes and served two consecutive terms as its leader.

Notes: Imra Ardeen is a first-class telepath, but also a diehard wallflower. Even in the most festive company she is reserved, as if she is listening to something other than the coversation at hand. No warning given at this time for appropriate use of meta-abilities; it is assumed she isn't listening to anyone else's thoughts.

As a young child, Imra displayed top-level telepathic abilities and was taken from her family to begin years of intense mental training with the best minds of Titan. She honed her abilities to scan and read sentient minds, communicate non-verbally with one or many, and gain limited control of another's mind and /or actions. Imra gave up a promising career as a Science Police officer to join the Legion. Although years of solitary training made it hard for Saturn Girl to relate with others, time with the Legion has helped Saturn Girl open up and make friends.
