Disctrict 30 to Hold Annual Picnic ________________________________________ On Saturday, August 16, 2003 from 10:00 AM - Dusk, District 30 has reserved space at Argonne National Laboratory's Park Pavilion for a picnic. District 30 will celebrate the many accomplishments we have achieved during the 2002-2003 Toastmaster year. We have achieved the "Distinguished" District recognition and waiting with bated breathe to hear that we are #1 in the World. Yes, our team spirit, hard work and dedication helped make this happen. Toastmaster members, spouses and guests are invited to attend this special event. Mark your calendars and plan on attending. The Argonne Park is located approximately 2 miles South of the Argonne National Laboratory (9700 S. Cass Avenue, Argonne, Illinois) entrance on the East side of the road. There is ample parking. The District will provide hamburgers and hotdogs while they last. You are encouraged to bring your own food, beverages, coolers, lounge chairs, etc. There will be food, fun, games and music. No alcoholic beverages allowed on the grounds. We are asking our members to prepare your favorite dessert and bring it to share. A special dessert table will be set up for you to sample and vote on the best desserts (please precut). A first, second and third place ribbon will be given at the picnic. As you can see we have a lot in store for you. Which Club will have the most representation? Hope to see you there! NO SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO ENTER THE PARK AREA! NO R.S.V.P. Required!
