| Name: Kaelin Tai�Venn
General Information: Kae is twenty eightwith his birthday on December 12. He works as a smith and lives with Renee above his forge. He's hot. Sorry, but he is. Look at him. He has the Sight, but only to the extent of seeing in the dark perfectly. Family: His noble father (Lord Venn) acknowledged him, he lived on his fathers estates until he was 17, his mother is a weaver in Tyra. He is not in contact with her anymore He has two half brothers, Rhys and Talin. A twin sister, Erain, who lived with his mother, his father didn't care for girls. (Erain has now come to Corus, and has a daughter, she is played by Lina) Rhys is the only other member of his family who knows where he is. He is married, with one child (a boy, Jared) to ex Rogue Renee Defleur. Appearance: Kae is very tanned, from spending a lot of time outside. His hair is just shorter than shoulder length and slightly curly, dark brown, normally tied back. He is often stubbly. He has bright greeny blue eyes, is very tall, 6� 1�, he has the muscles of someone who uses them, lean and toned. Tattoos: Wings across his shoulders, designs on each wrist, a dagger and a wave on one, writing on the other, A weird design at the base of his spine. Wolfs paws on each ankle. One private one (you can try and find out). A new one on the inside of his lower lip. (no he didnt do that one himself) One on the bottom of his right foot in the shape of some symbols, and he very recently added a new one to his collection on the inside of his thigh. Scars: Big one on his back in the shape of a slanted V. On his right side he has a curving scar almost pattenlike and very thin the rem nant from an accident in the forge, whilst playing with wire. He has a larget one from Simon going stabbity on him, on his front and back left, it went right through. About a finger length and an inch or so wide. Plenty on his hands and arms, as you would expect from anyone who makes a living in a physical way. Personality: He can come across quite cocky. He is definately a bit of a ladies man. (fortunately Ren keeps him on a tight leash, not that he's thinking of straying.) He is very competitive which often gets him into trouble, or competition. He�s confident and will interact with most people. He tries not to muck people around and lets them know where they stand. He is fairly laid back as a rule, but if his blood is up then he can be very vicious. It is better not to talk to him when he's in a mood as he will often take it out on whoever is handy. But in general he likes to be able to help and will go out of his way to assist people in everyday ways. He can be quite naive about people, he was quite sheltered from interacting with people other than those that were paid to be nice to him when he was growing up, and even his occupation then didnt seem to erase his willingness to believe the best of someone. He has an addictive personality, mostly to danger but he steers clear of pain drugs when possible as he knows he gets hooked, Tash is toying with the idea that he's addicted to Renee. Strengths: A fighter, ruthless and competitive. His strongest discipline is hand to hand, his knife throwing is good,.. He talented at a lot of disciplines due to his upbringing, including archery, riding, hunting (and other things that his old profession required, such as stealth) Weaknesses: He can't read people, he is dense as hell like that, he can also be rather slow on the uptake and sometimes needs things spelled out for him. He can get involved with the wrong type of people. He is also too competitive, and has a constant need to prove himself, he also is very insecure with himself and gets quite paranoid. He is overly flirty, which annoys a lot of women. Also as he flirts pretty much without realising it, he has hurt people by accident before. He gets over protective of people, especially if they seem like they need him. Unwittingly this racks some people right off. He is -so- accident prone, mainly because he does silly things History: Kaelin is the illigitimate son of Lord Venn, who lives outside Tyra. He lived on his fathers estates until he was 17. During this time he was taught to fight, think, and kill. His purpose was to be a weapon for his father. His teacher Humman, was his fathers assassin, mostly involved in political killings. His father also insisted he had an intellectual education, he speaks a bit of several languages, Scanran, Common, K'mir and Kypriot, At the age of 17 he had a fight with the oldest of his half brothers, Talin. He almost killed him and was banished from his fathers estate. For seven years he has made a living any way he can. One of his best working abilities is smithing. He has moved to Corus and joined the Rogue. Before he moved to Corus he travelled around a lot. He went to Tusaine, Carthak, The Copper Isles and Scanra, but he has been in Tortall for almost three years now, and has no immediate plans to leave, though occassionally he is bitten by the travel bug and has to go away for a while. What is your character most ashamed of?: The fact that he was manipulated by his father for so long, he is ashamed that he obeyed his father and killed for him often without knowing a reason for it.
