The Jana Project is something I have been working on with my friend Terry Shellenburger. The concept of Jana was originally his, and I was signed onto the project because he needed an artist who was capable of doing the manga-style art. The Jana now hasn't actually changed much from Terry's original concept. I only made a few small changes so she would better fit my style.
About Jana
Jana is a young, college-age girl who is attending a super hero training college. She wants more than anything to become a super hero, leap tall buildings, save people, etc., etc... However, she has only one drawback to her success: She hasn't quite got the curvy figure and foxy looks she needs to become a super hero. Trust me, it's a little hard to thwart evil-doers when your super suit doesn't fit.^_^*
This, along with the many stresses of beginning college life, start to wear on our troubled heroine, and she spends many a sleepless night, bleary-eyed, trying to make things work.
The Plot Thickens
One night, while Jana is up late working, she is so taken with exhaustion, that she passes out into a deep sleep. When she awakens, she finds herself in a completely different world...our world. Here, she befriends a real person, named Ben, who helps her discover the 3 dimensional universe, and a lot about herself.
And so the story begins. Right now we haven't made much progress, with my own transition into college life, and Terry's computer troubles. However, we will eventually have the centerfold page of Jana's trip to the beach completed. When we do, I'll post it here for you.
